BLYDE ADVENTURE FESTIVAL 20092009-01-21

So beautiful   

   Good day Ladies and Gents.

 

From the 13 - 15th of February 2009, Mohlatsi Adventures will host the third Annual adventure festival hosted on the banks of the Mohlatsi (Blyde) river in the Limpopo province. (for those not sure why the name changed, the Blyde Canyon is still called the Blyde Canyon but the river’s name has been changed to Mohlatsi)

This year the festival has been moved forward slightly in the hopes of catching higher water for the various on river races and also to get a good supply of mud for the mountain bikers.

Main Events are the Upper Blyde Kayak Race won last year by speed demon Shane Raw (Juniors and Open) and the Mountain Bike race.
Other events: Kayak race on the Lower Blyde for the beginner kayakers. Tubing and Croc raft races also on the Lower section of the river for those not yet bitten by the kayak bug.

Night Freestyle Rodeo
Kayak Ramp Big Air Competition
